Don't treat music selection as a vague "feel" skill — learn the actual tempo ranges associated with warm-up versus high-intensity segments, and understand how phrasing to an 8-count structures choreography.

Practice Distinguishing Class Formats

Step, indoor cycling, circuit, HIIT, and mind-body formats each have distinct characteristics the exam tests directly — practice matching a described class scenario to its correct format, and understand what makes each format's programming approach different from the others.

Don't Underestimate the Screening/Assessment Domain's Group-Specific Twist

Unlike a one-on-one personal training assessment, group screening has real practical limits — instructors can't individually assess every participant in depth.
