Since ALEKS is adaptive, strong performance here can move you into more advanced algebra content, so it's worth practicing past the bare minimum rather than stopping once basic equations feel comfortable.

Geometry & Functions

Review area, perimeter, and volume formulas for common shapes, the Pythagorean theorem, and basic coordinate geometry (distance and midpoint). Also make sure you can quickly identify function types (linear vs. quadratic) from their equations, since this comes up in both the geometry-adjacent and algebra-adjacent portions of the assessment.
